Hi Thaliruth, I have uploaded the related items module v 2.1.0 and the error persist, it made me wondering how did the module work properly before, while the joomla api doesn't support webp yet.

Hm good question, it was just an older version. And there was also a plugin with it. And the settings also looked quite different.

But why does it not work if I have disabled the images in the module? Then the module could not care if there are webp images or not. It should not load any images.

Before the module worked in any case with images. But since I'm redesigning and preparing for J4, I thought I'd update the whole thing again, since I was so far actually very satisfied. I'll see if I can somehow determine which version I had there.

So I searched an old backup of my database and found the following entry

And as you can see it was probably the version 1.71 which worked so far and also had no problem with webp content.
See file attachment, I have the entry for the mod in there

Hmm it's the old version of the module. I'm also not really sure whether it supports webp or not.

Apparently yes, because before I bought the latest version I had no problems with it, not even with webp images. If you still have this version, I would be happy to test it again. Decisive for the purchase was just a PHP error that had annoyed me.

Parameter must be an array or an object that implements Countable

This is gone with the new version, also because of my preparation for the change to Joomla 4.

Before that I had not had any problems with this outdated version. Only now with the newest version.

And as I said, in the module I have set it NO IMAGE! No images should be loaded, so this error should and should not appear at all, because the module should not load any images. And it should be therefore also no matter whether I use Webp images or not.

Even if Joomla does not support WebP images, I can add them in articles with my editor (JCE), and these Webp images are also displayed on the website and mobile devices.

WebP is now a new modern better format.

Why I use their extension is because I can output relevant articles by tags, which unfortunately does not work with the Joomla eignenden version, there it goes only by metatags.

If therefore their version is now no longer able, I would like to have my money back, and will then look for another alternative.
