Language files missing?
Hello,
Many thanks for all your help but unfortunately this is all not working for me.
Probably has to do with the upgrade from Joomla 3 to 4 to 5 and the T3 template.
I'v 'solved' it on a different way with an extra module/button link under the module on the frontpage.
Maybe I will investigate this later.

I have the same problem:
Joomla 4.4.2 German Language, new installed
I tried to copy the files to de_DE and renamed them with and without language prefix
de-DE.mod_latestnewsplusdate.ini oder mod_latestnewsplusdate.ini
No change! When I change the language to english there are still no readable labels
It is a nice extension but I can't use it

Really strange, I even has installed the German language but still unable to reproduce the issue, please see :
