XTypo and Joomla 4

Thank you for your quick response.

CSS is clear, i want to have a set of fixes colours and so on - as users working with the page, should never know, how to modify.
My hope, is to find soemthing which is easy to use for users with less knowledge.
Understood.

Thew page url is:
schulen-erzbistumberlin.de/test-xt

I made a test page with the functions ... it works in frontend ... but it did not work in backend ... in the editor, i did not see ...like the screenshots i provide again.
In editor window i did not see that like in your videos.
What coud be reason for that?

How to solve this problem?

OK link: I mean, it is not a issue - i aks you to improve the plugin. Check the page from your video ... if you dont add https:// to the url, it will not redirect to that page ... it will affect in www.yourdomein.com/www.google.com --- undestand what i mean?
Joomla itself (editor) asks in the moment of storing the url in that field, if it automatically should add https:// ... or not. This is for users with less knowledge ... better users experience.

And last - yoututbe ... this is a good soluton, as normally users have no idea how to implement a video. For exampe allvideos (you know that plugin?) is with {youtube}} ...ID---{/youtube} ...

BUT we are in Europe - we have strong law rights to GDPR.
So, it is not a solution - to buy this xt-plugin, until there is not a picture or text above the video and the user needs to confirm, now to load the youtube video.

V1: Your plugin takes the first picture of the video as thumbnail and you present a text and a checkbox and OK button. Text to modify by the admin ... that is a "solution"

I know that could be a bunch of code additionally ... but add this to the pro version and charge a litte more dollars - you will sell it better.

What do you think?
thank you and best regards
Frank

Ah my bad, I have a typo when telling you the css path in my previous replies. The correct css path for your TinyMCE is this one : schulen-erzbistumberlin.de/plugins/edito...editor-xtypo.min.css

Ah, this is not an issue related to xtypo, but rather a standard behavior by Joomla. The correct URL format is to use 'https://' at the beginning of the link, as it indicates that the link is external. If you enter a link without 'https://,' Joomla assumes it's an internal link, and thus adds your domain name in front of it. Therefore, when you want to enter, for example, 'test-xt,' Joomla will change it to schulen-erzbistumberlin.de/test-xt .I f we make the plugin to automatically add 'https://' to any link, it will confuse users who are accustomed to entering links with 'http://' because the link will then not work due to having 'http://' twice.

And last - yoututbe ... this is a good soluton, as normally users have no idea how to implement a video. For exampe allvideos (you know that plugin?) is with {youtube}} ...ID---{/youtube} ...

Yes, we used this method in the past for adding xtypo elements, but no longer do so. This approach can make your articles messy with uncommon tags when you are no longer using the plugin. Additionally, using tags requires additional server resources to interpret those tags before generating their HTML tags

BUT we are in Europe - we have strong law rights to GDPR.
So, it is not a solution - to buy this xt-plugin, until there is not a picture or text above the video and the user needs to confirm, now to load the youtube video.

I don't really understand what you mean by this. Are you suggesting adding a GDPR consent overlay over the embedded video, and then users in Europe need to click on it before watching the video? Can you provide an example of how this would be used?
